Legal Requirements for Mail Purchase of Firearms

Rifles & Shotguns

Please be aware that before you purchase any  Rim-Fire Rifle, Centre – Fire Rifle, or Shotgun,  you will need to prove that you have a Current NZ Firearms licence for all firearms.

Air Guns

If you are over 18 Years of age and don’t have a firearms licence you are eligible to purchase Air guns, however there are still some requirements to fulfil.

Requirements

Before Rivers to Ranges can send you any of these items you are required to complete the NZ POLICE – Mail purchase order form for firearms or ammo with your local police station arms officer.

Once the above is completed, your local arms officer will email us directly sales@riverstoranges.co.nz. Then we can send you your goods.
